New Orleans brothers Art, Charles, Aaron and Cyril, members of a locally famous R&B family, had been performing solo or with different groups for quite a while before they became The Neville Brothers in 1976. A melodious mix of incredible vocal talent, their music runs the gamut from heavenly to jazzy in deeply personal compositions that draw upon their Uptown New Orleans roots, and the blend of percussion, sax and keyboard artistry add depth and variety to their performances. Aaron, gifted with an angelic tenor, has performed with Linda Ronstadt [1989] and Trisha Yearwood [1994], and the Brothers' 1999 release "Valence Street" includes a memorable collaboration with Wyclef Jean.
