Stevie Nicks was a Los Angeles singer/songwriter in the early 1970s, when she met and fell in love with Lindsey Buckingham. Together, they formed a band of their own, but soon their paths would cross that of Mick Fleetwood, then of the already legendary prog-rock band Fleetwood Mac. With the addition of Stevie and Lindsey, Fleetwood Mac would create the chart-topping records that defined the late seventies. Much was made of the behind-the-scenes romantic ups and downs within Fleetwood Mac that eventually led to the band's occasional break-ups. Stevie established her own solo career successfully throughout the 80s, but returned to the reunited Fleetwood Mac more than once post-2000. Her musically legacy is strong, feminine and unforgettable.
